Gene Colan worked for both Marvel & DC and penciled many of the greats.

Not exactly rock'n'roll, but a definite pop icon.

I hate seeing so many talents from my youth leaving us. Very sad...

Very sad - I loved his wonderful insanity. Even got to see him perform a couple of tunes at Rajis in Hollywood one time and would occasionally talk with him as he wandered the streets of LA. He will be missed.
