The Swamp Gospel, The Swank Bastards, the Gentlemen of Four Outs - the Huntridge Tavern, Saturday, August 29, 2015

The Huntridge Tavern celebrated its 53-1/2 year anniversary with a big parking lot party featuring a dunk tank for their bartenders, caricature artist, food, drink specials and bands! As I played in two of the groups (The Swamp Gospel and the Gentlemen), I don't have much to say about the live music - other than that the Swank Bastards were their usual splendid selves, with much surfy merriment (played with superior talent and showiness), crude jokes and the lovely Ivanna Blaize spinnin'n'swirlin' for your viewing pleasure. A good time was had by all - especially those who partook in the drink specials (!) - and hopefully plenty of money was made so that the HT can upgrade their a/c! The Huntridge is always a terrific time!
