Ugly Things #51

Hot on the heels (just a few months, in fact!) of their landmark 50th issue, Mike'n'Anja Stax return with another mid-blowin' zine with cover stories on Randy Holden (Blue Cheer), Night Shadows and the Choir and featuring the usual star-studded Pretty Things, Flamin' Groovies and Downliner Sect columns. There's part two of the groovy Lenny Kaye interview, the Bad Seeds by Mike, Greg Prevost makes a couple of appearances, there's a Tina Turner overview, Roky Erickson by Tim Stegal and a plethora of extras. Of course, the extensive reviews always make me round out'n'blow up my various wish lists and it's a guarantee that you will come away with a doctorate from the college of musical knowledge!

C'mon, it's Ugly Things - you know it's essential - just go and get it already!
