RIP Goldtop Bob

 Those of you who are not from Las Vegas may not know the man, but Goldtop Bob (named after his iconic Goldtop Les Paul that he has had since the 60's, as the story goes) has been a mainstay of the Vegas blues scene for as long as most people can remember. A highly talented guitarist, he could play solo or with bands and despite health issues and advanced age (I don't know if anyone knew exactly how old he was), he continued to play at least weekly, if not more often, in Vegas bars. Known for his excesses and curmudgeonly attitude, he was quite the character and will be missed by the entire Vegas scene.
