It was probably the Monterrey Pop movie that first turned me on to Big Brother, but wow, what a terrific, crazed, beautifully noisy, psychedelic, hard rock band - and the singer wasn't bad, either. But man, I loved the guitar interplay between Andrews and Gurley - truly over-the-top madness that completely worked. We lost another great one today...
