RIP Henry Peck
"Oh Henry!" Remembering L.A. Music Scene Pioneer Henry Peck
---
Henry and his partner Joseph owned the influential record shop, Vinyl Fetish, on Melrose in the early 80's where we all found incredible releases that were not available elsewhere. They also founded The Veil, a dance club that began at the Cathay de Grande and later moved to Club Lingerie due to its popularity and the wild new music that they would play. (They were even known to borrow records from me when specializing in genres that they had limited access to.)
Definitely a big part of my early days in LA. So sad to see another LA icon go, again far too young.
